JOB DESCRIPTION
A Lagos based building and civil engineering division of a fast growing multinational company is looking to build on its 20 years of successful project implementation nationwide and become a leading player in the Nigeria market.
To meet our expansion plans, we need to recruit additional staff members to our team, and are looking to fill the following:
PROJECT ENGINEERS BUILD/CIVIL (Nigerian and Expatriate)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages construction and engineering projects from point of award to point of handover
Visits company sites, new plots or industrial client sites to carry out engineering assessments and prepares engineering reports
Acts as the first link between the company and the client for the project
Ensures that equipment, materials and works comply with the scope requirements, guidelines, quality and safety standards
Carries out engineering analysis, design and calculations for project that have such requirement
Prepares cost estimate based on the aforementioned and will define BOQ and tender requirements with Quantity Surveyor
REQUIREMENTS
Good oral and communication skills
Computer proficiency – AUTOCAD, Microsoft Office tools
Detail oriented with integrity, good interpersonal skills with sound project management skills
