  Job Details

The project manager is responsible for managing the:
• Integration and balance of the overall project management functions of scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk and procurement to deliver the project objectives that are aligned with the business goals, strategies and objectives.
• Agreed scope of the project and managing the application of project scope controls.
• Development, implementation and maintenance of the project schedule to deliver the project within agreed timeframes, resources and budget.
• Identification of project vendor costs to define a specified project vendor budget, utilise this budget as the principal mechanism to control project costs.
• Confirming all vendor costs and invoices are aligned with agreed budget cashflow and completion of deliverables.
• Ensuring compliance with the financial management principles and policies of Sidra Medical and Research Center.
• Quality of projects including determining quality requirements, implementing quality assurance processes, and using review and evaluation to make quality improvements in current projects and recommending improvements for future projects.
• Human Resource Management (HRM) within projects including planning for human resources requirements, identifying and co-ordinating any project specific training and education, monitoring project staff project performance and managing the project team and stakeholders.
• Communication that links people, ideas and information at all stages in the project life cycle. This includes managing the timely and appropriate generation, collection, dissemination, storage, evaluation and disposal of project information through formal structures and processes to facilitate the achievement of project objectives.
• Any procurement and contract management within the project. This includes determining procurement requirements, establishing agreed procurement processes, conducting contracting and procurement activities and managing finalisation processes. Contract management includes monitoring vendor delivery of deliverables within agreed timeframe, cost and quality.
• All project reporting requirements, complying with Sidra’s project management principles and practices and ensuring escalation and management of all project risks, issues and change controls as determined and guided by the IM Project Office.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT
• Implement and maintaining the quality improvement framework for the project that is in alignment with IM Project Office quality improvement framework.
• Participate in quality activities
• Oversee discussions and undertake surveys with customers regarding the delivery of services where appropriate.
MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
• Employees in management positions are responsible for the leadership and management of teams including the supervision and development of staff and the pursuit of Sidra’s values in all activities. Managers are required to actively participate in leadership activities and contribute to the development and implementation of Sidra’s strategic and business plans.
Qualifications:
Degree level qualifications in management, project management, information technology management
Recognized Project Management Certification such as Prince2, PMI
