ROLE PURPOSE:
Manage all Commercial product development and activities in SSA
•Execute Commercial product strategies and provide support to Business development to maintain dominance in market share against competitors;
•Develop client-oriented marketing and sales strategies/goals by establishing a close relationship with existing clients, potential clients and regulators, to ensure integrity/marketability of Visa Commercial Products (Purchasing, Distribution, Government Procurement, Corporate, and Business Card), to capture clients' needs for delivering overall products services and implementations (including technical);
•Drive all Commercial Business Development, manage sales activities and oversee projects and consulting work;
•Act as a content advisor and support the country management. Be the conduit between the market and regional/global functions to introduce best practices;
•Manage Commercial Products P&L for the market including Acceleration plan P&L;
•Participate in industry forums and influence decision making bodies to favourable outcome for Visa Commercial
The role will also contribute to APCEMEA-wide Commercial activities in conjunction with the CEMEA Commercial lead.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
•Assess and develop the SSA Commercial markets opportunities, development, trends, and threats;
•Implement Commercial plan and strategy for SSA
•Participate to the devising and implementation of enhancements to existing Commercial solutions and development of new solutions in response to local market needs and opportunities;
•Oversee the ongoing management of Commercial solutions for SSA
•Manage the provisioning of education and pre-sales support to relationship management;
•Input and execution activities related to commercial in overall Product Strategy for SSA
•Input and Budget management for SSA wide Commercial activities
•Partake in the development of best practices and product/ service toolkits
This individual will be expected to interact effectively will all levels of Visa management and staff. This position will involve frequent interaction and communication with key Visa Clients.
