Job Title: Safety Officer. 
Location: Saudi Arabia.

Job Details:
Implement and revise when appropriate of the company's --Safety policies.- Carry out regular audits internally & externally of all work areas to ensure that Safety standards are being complied with and implemented.- Ensure that all Identified Non Conformities are closed in a timely and effective manner.- Investigate and record all accidents / incidents and recommend corrective actions.- Review absences due to accident or injury at work and notify reportable occurrences.- Ensure adequate safety and first aid tools are maintained.- Ensure that the safety training needs of the company are fulfilled.- Bring to the notice of managers and supervisors all relevant statutes, regulations and codes of practice.- Conduct risk assessments and make recommendations for safety improvements as required following the assessments.- Liaise with Noortech's Managers with regards to any Safety issues to ensure a consistent resolution is achieved.- Carry out systems and process review, advise/agree changes and implement.- Self develop relevant personal knowledge and skills.

Requirement:
•A relevant professional qualification, i.e. NEBOSH Certificate or similar
•Extensive Knowledge of Industrial Safety Code
•Excellent time management and organisational skills
•A good/reasonable understanding of health and safety law and practice and a passionate interest in keeping up to date with current Work Safety issues
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•A fastidious emphasis on quality and attention to detail, reflected in work
•Computer literate with ability to use web-hosted ERP, Time & Attendance and Performace Reviews Applications.
•Numerate
•Flexibility in order to adapt to the changing needs of the business
•Smart, tidy and hygienic appearance
•Sense of integrity
•Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
•Willingness to travel and work in other business locations as required in support of the business objective and the post-holders professional development.
•Valid Driving license.
•Good writing style and telephone manner.
•Project management skills.
•An understanding and appreciation of occupational health.
