Key Qualifications
◾Minimum 10 years of tax experience in a public firm and or large multinational business.
◾The candidate must have good analytical skills, be detailed oriented, be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
◾Solid accounting skills along with working knowledge and experience in US GAAP and tax accounting in multinational companies.
◾Position requires an individual with strong written and oral communication skills.
◾Strong computer skills and functionality knowledge.
◾Experience in SAP is a plus.
◾Travel requirements: 10% or less.

Description
We are seeking a local Tax Manager to join our Finance organization. This person will report to the Finance Director with dotted line to the Regional Tax Manager. Responsibilities / Requirements: - Strong background in indirect taxes (ICMS, PIS/COFINS, ISS, import taxes, IPI, etc.). - Coordination and direct supervision of all tax compliance currently managed by external service provider. - Assistance with all tax information requested by governmental tax auditors in line with corporate tax guidance. - Coordination and monitoring of all changes needed in our accounting and tax systems in order to fulfill all tax obligations. - Assistance to local finance management / tax department with information needed to conduct tax analysis in the context of new business initiatives. - Assistance to International Tax team with information required for Corporate Tax Accounting and Compliance. - Solid understanding of both manufacturing processes / support service activities and their regulatory tax framework.

Education
- BA/BS Degree / MBA is a plus. - Fluency in Portuguese and English. Spanish is a plus.
