Primary Responsibilities
The Content and Communications Marketing Manager will be the voice of Amazon Payments, leading the development of all types of content.
Scope Includes:
*.Developing and distributing impactful and compelling case studies, infographics, articles, blog posts, white papers, social media and related content.
*.Managing Amazon Payment’s social media properties and blog.
*.Working with Product, Sales, Finance, and PR to identify and distill key differentiators and quantify customer success and then bringing these stories to life in motivating and compelling content.
*.Developing and owning the content calendar, working cross functionally and globally to ensure on-time, high quality delivery.
*.Ensuring consistent messaging, voice and tone throughout our content portfolio.
*.Using data and analysis to measure and optimize performance of all content activities.
Additional Responsibilities:
*.Assisting in refining our messaging and positioning.
*.Working with colleagues around the globe to develop and localize marketing strategies.
*.Conducting and analyzing primary and secondary market research.
*.Managing external agencies and creative partners as needed.
Key Capabilities:
*.Exceptional writing and editing skills (writing samples will be required)
*.Strong analytical skills; ability to measure and optimize ROI.
*.Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven work environment while maintaining a relentlessly high standards and maniacal attention to detail.
*.Team-oriented, with the ability to work with and influence others in a global organization. Must be comfortable with frequent senior management contact.
Basic Qualifications
EXPERIENCE
Independent self-starter with exceptional written and verbal communications skills, the candidate must have demonstrated success in using content to deliver quantifiable business results. Must have sound business judgment and the ability to think strategically about a fast growing business while at the same time operate and produce tactically. This is an individual contributor role, but one with significant responsibility and room for growth.
*.BA/BS required. Journalism, PR, Marketing, or Communications focus preferred.
*.5+ years B2B content marketing experience, preferably in digital commerce or other high-tech business.
Preferred Qualifications
*.Exceptional communication skills. This cannot be overemphasized. Portfolio of content required.
*.Experience developing and managing a broad array of content. Experience building, managing, and promoting social media and blog content desired.
*.Proven project manager and multi-tasker able to meet deadlines and build stakeholder relationships despite high task volume and shifting requirements.
*.Ability to operate successfully and independently in a rapidly changing, ambiguous and undefined environment.
*.Relentlessly high standards.
