Leidos has an exciting opportunity for a Cybersecurity Project Manager with a Secret security clearance in the Arlington/Vienna, VA area.
Job Summary
The Cybersecurity Project Manager will lead a geographically dispersed team of Cybersecurity engineers providing Penetration Testing, Enterprise Security Solution Engineering, Security Engineering support for Agile Development and DevOps, Secure Code Review, Security Product and Technology Risk Assessment, Security Support for Change Advisory Boards (CAB) and Security Architecture technical support to a Federal Agency customer in Washington, DC and other locations.
Primary Responsibilities
The Cybersecurity Project Manager shall organize, direct, coordinate, plan, and perform work activities, supervise and review the work of subordinates, including subcontractors, to ensure that all contract requirements are met. The Cybersecurity PM shall provide project management support in the following areas: risk management, integrated schedule management, performance metrics, document management, and change management. In addition, the Contractor shall support the facilitation of effective governance, cross-project integration, performance monitoring and the implementation of Agile security processes.
Responsibilities
The Cybersecurity Project Manager will also be responsible for the following:
• Apply industry and Government standards and best practices as appropriate in the service areas specified in this SOW.
• Attend weekly status meetings with the Government Program Managers.
• Coordinate quarterly/monthly Program Management Review meetings with Government staff and Contractor management staff.
• Ensure that Agile approaches are established and maintained on the program and associated projects and reflected in the team’s approach.
• Establish Agile measurements of progress such as Kanban boards.
• Ensure use of Agency OIT standard enterprise planning and tracking tools.
• Utilize processes that ensure continuity of operations and smooth transition of the management responsibilities throughout the life of the contract.
• Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
• Currently possess a Secret security clearance
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 8 years of experience leading technical projects similar in size and complexity.
• Must have active certifications: CISSP, PMP, PMI-ACP
• Knowledge and experience with Agile program and project management
• Be capable of carrying out complex tasks to completion, with minimum supervision
• Be capable of interpreting task requirements and selecting appropriate methodologies to complete task
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
• Highly self-motivated and directed
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment and remotely
• Strong Microsoft Office 2010 skills to include (Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint)..
