Job Details:
PURPOSE
This role in the Digital (Emerging markets) organization manages the creation of new mobile and digital payment solutions and supports their in-market implementation. Responsibilities include managing design, development, approval, risk assessment and eventual widespread commercialization of new offerings which are first of their kind in the payment industry. These new solutions have to be deployed keeping in mind the evolving market, client and consumer needs with the objective of driving significant future market growth for Visa in emerging markets. The role holder must possess a unique blend of strategic, product management, project management and implementation skills as well have an intimate understanding of payments, mobile technology, consumer behavior and Visa’s business.
KEY RESULT AREAS
1. Strategy
Requires role holder to: help develop strategies and assist in prioritizing product features; use a quantitative approach to help in strategy discussions with stakeholders; identify and report information and specific trends to management.
2. Product definition and design.
Requires role holder to utilize their existing payments knowledge, market feedback, consumer research, interaction with potential partners and SMEs, and market knowledge to shape the design and development of new digital solutions that meet the market requirements.
3. Client and partner management.
Requires role holder to manage the communication with clients and partners required to roll out the solution in-market and manage the need for flexibility for modification based on the in-market insights and learnings.
4. Project management and solution deployment
Requires role holder to: closely manage project details, timelines and inter-dependencies; manage product interrelated tasks and deadlines; manage solution implementation in market; balance the technology, risk, social, in market and commercial factors required to commercialize new solutions.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
-Identification of pertinent data and undertaking analysis in order to clearly present market size, dynamics, opportunities, etc.
-Utilization of qualitative and quantitative data in order to develop strategies and assist with prioritizing product feature development.
-Definition of the solution offering and its suitability to objectives.
-Analysis of the impacts of the solution offering including to pricing, economics, branding, positioning and technical deployment. --
-Articulation of the solution’s value proposition for internal and external stakeholders and clients.
-Timely documentation of new product requirements, rules and updated Visa Operating Regulations.
-Working relationship with external and internal partners required for development and rollout of the solution in market.
-Regular and as required reporting of client and partner status to internal and external stakeholders.
-Baseline performance against product objectives, project timelines and in-market solution implementation.
-Documentation, tracking and reporting of objectives, projects, solution implementation and budgets.
-Regular status reporting and as required status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
-Launch of solution in market.

Professional
1.10 years’ work experience – will consider less if coming from a highly relevant field with prior experience in taking new products from the idea stage to commercial launch...
