Key Responsibilities
Senior System Administration support duties to include setting up user accounts, user roles and profiles and monitoring and maintaining Operating System operations of Workstation at the Protection Level 4 Security Certification Level.
Additionally, personnel shall maintain 24/7 daily systems operations at the UNITED KINGDOM site, (on-call after initial forty (40) hour work week) – backups, communication trouble shooting, and complete system monitoring in support of operational requirements. Conduct installation of software updates, track archive maintenance, system maintenance and installation of system-wide software and allocation of mass storage space. Maintain local area network connectivity, crypto monitoring (if required) and support of operational briefs and meetings. Provide time critical software and hardware support for 24/7 UNITED KINGDOM operations. Provide training to watch personnel of track data base management, receipt, analysis and dissemination of various products (including message generation, graphic briefs creation, and track management functions. Provide emergency trouble shooting on a 24/7 basis to support site operations. Coordinate with U.S. entities to ensure continuous communications connectivity with both local and U.S. assets

*.Bachelor's of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, and/or Math
*.5+ years of experience with development/systems administration
*.Extensive knowledge on Red Hat Linux Operating Systems and of the Security Enhancement core including:
*.SE-related UNIX commands
*.Understanding of operating in a permissive VT
*.Limitations of file admin or trusted Shell
*.Understanding of restrictions of policy and security contexts
*.Adept at scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Perl as well as understanding of C & C++ programming
*.Strong background in databases such as Mysql or SqLite
*.Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
*.Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
Additional Preferred Skills And Qualifications
*.Experience with providing User training
*.Experience with maintaining router/switch and other firewall devices
*.Experience with RAID maintenance and large data backups
*.Experience with system trouble-shooting and performance issues
An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
