Job Details:
Primary Responsibilities, Skills And Attributes Of Successful Candidates Include
• Participate fully in Agile Software Development.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn
• Problem solving skills across multiple technologies and environments
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, both written and oral in a highly collaborative environment
• Software Development mainly in Multi-Threaded C++ on Windows / Mac / Linux.
• Additional coding skills in some or all of C/JSP/Java/Python/Objective C/C#
• Hands on testing of applications with a strong emphasis on Test Automation.
• Object Oriented Design methodologies and Software Design principles
• Demonstrate practical application of these attributes via project or intern work
Knowledge Of Some Of The Following Areas Would Be An Advantage
• Experience of cross-platform development
• Cloud Technologies
• Experience with TCP/IP based networking
• Skills in one or more of the following scripting languages: Perl, Shell, Bash, Ruby, Tcl
• Unified Communications protocols
• Web application development, AJAX and Javascript
• Knowledge of browser plug-ins
• Video Technologies
• Cisco Certification and product knowledge
• Microsoft Certification and product knowledge
Education Requirements
B.Sc. / B.Eng / M.Sc / M.Eng or equivalents in the areas of Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Software Development, Computer Networking, Electronics or other equivalent disciplines with an emphasis on Software Design practices.
Eligibility Requirements
• Graduated with undergraduate or graduate level degree
• Legally entitled to live and work in European Union
• Must be fluent in English
