Job Details:
The programmer analyst will perform analysis and programming duties in the development, implementation and support of information systems and applications.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
1.
Design, develop, document, analyze, create, test and modify computer systems, programs and integrations.
2.
Apply system-analyst techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software or systems functional specifications
3.
Analyze user information system needs. Document the functionality and requirements. Research, evaluate and recommend solutions and appropriate technology to meet user's needs.
4.
Ensure process integrity and conduct / improve continual quality control
5.
Improve processes and efficiencies on an ongoing basis
6.
Create systems and business reports
7.
Develop, publish and maintain project plans, test plans and production turnover documentation.
8.
Assist in the development of user guides and manuals for system users. Assist in training users as needed.
9.
Assist in creating technical documentation of systems and infrastructure
10.
Special projects and assignments as business dictates
Requirements:
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
1.
5+ years of professional experience.
2.
Strong understanding of relational database design, Transact SQL and ASP.
3.
Significant proficiency with SQL and writing queries against complex database structures
4.
Windows .NET Framework, including VB.Net and ASP.Net programming experience preferred.
5.
Database design/administration experience (Design, implementation, modification, enhancements, migration, etc.)
6.
Experience using Microsoft SQL-Server, SSRS, SSIS and OLAP a plus
7.
Quick learner, highly motivated, and able to work independently.
8.
Solutions-oriented and excellent problem solver
9.
Must be able to work well in a team environment
10.
On-call rotation and participation in special event coverage is required.
11.
Maintain confidentiality as required and appropriate..
