Description
Reporting to the CIO the Senior Manager IT – Business ensures that business requirements from business stakeholders are in line with the IT strategy and projects priorities. He / she leads a group of Business Analysts and ensures that they work on documenting, reviewing and finalizing the various requirements of IT Projects. He / she is responsible to map the business processes and will work with the relevant business team to re-engineer those processes if required.
The successful Senior Manager IT – Business is expected to lead a close partnership relationship with different business units and vendors. Maintaining the business satisfaction with IT services is central success factor of this position.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Key Activities
1.Business-to-IT relationship Management for assigned business domains
2.Ensure all domain-related IT projects are in line with flydubai corporate IT strategy
3.Vendor Management – set up processes and guidelines for effective vendor management lifecycle from RFP stage through to contract adherence through use of defined KPIs
4.Business and IT Alignment - Ensure alignment of the project with business requirements by setting up committees and groups with relevant stakeholders that are empowered to make decisions
5.Communication - Ensure the creation and dissemination of project performance reports and timely dissemination of the same to relevant stakeholders to improve transparency and enhance the visibility of the PSS project.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
Minimum Qualification
•Educated to university degree level (IT qualification)
Experience
•10+ years airline experience
•10+ years experience working in airline IT project delivery
•10+ years experience in a vendor relationship management in the aviation industry
•10+ years experience in Business relationship management
•Any experience on delivery projects for one or more of the following systems/domains:
•Reservation/ticketing systems
•DCS systems
•Revenue management systems
•Data Warehousing

• Project and delivery management skills
• Vendors management skills
Certificate / License required
•PMP Certification
•ITIL certification
•COBIT
•SIX Sigma accreditation
