The Dow Chemical Company is currently seeking New College Graduates with a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering that will graduate in December 2015 or in the Spring of 2016.

Exciting Opportunities For Mechanical Engineers Include:
Mechanical Engineers in production/plant and reliability engineering functions include a broad range of responsibilities in chemical plant expansion and alteration, cost/benefit analysis, timing, technology, and safety from inception to completion. Also, the mechanical engineer's involvement may include such items as predictive maintenance, failure analysis, and vessel and piping design.
Mechanical Engineers in our Engineering Solutions will perform tasks that may include component design and verification, piping stress analysis and pressure vessel design, as well as the verification and re-rate of existing equipment. In addition, the review and development of equipment specifications will be required. Incumbents will prepare inquiry packages, technically evaluate bids and issue order packages for equipment. Mechanical Engineers will prepare construction documents with regard to piping/mechanical equipment.

Dow Canada has an Early Engineer Career Development program that fosters new engineers' development during their first 8 years with Dow. Individuals will have the opportunity to rotate through 2-3 jobs during this period. Historical rotation opportunities include typical engineering positions as well as unique opportunities such as EH&S Delivery, Project Management, etc.
