The Role
Working with the Head of Marketing for EMEA, the EMEA Marketing Manager will assist with defining, developing and executing marketing plans that build awareness, generate leads and nurture existing client relationships for Bloomberg's core financial products, with a particular focus on buy-side firms and corporations, and also Bloomberg Mobile products.
This individual will work closely with global marketing program managers at Bloomberg's Headquarters in New York City to ensure the solutions/audiences he/she is responsible for in EMEA are supported with well-informed and innovative marketing programs which effectively deliver a return on our marketing investment.
A key responsibility of the job will be to understand and become an advocate for the Bloomberg brand and ensure that all marketing activities undertaken on behalf of a specific solution/audience group are aligned with and support the overall brand.
The ideal candidate will have an extensive understanding of the financial services market in EMEA, strong project management, written and verbal communication skills, and a drive to promote one of the world's iconic brands.
Skill Set & Experience Required
- Successful track record in B to B financial services marketing - desirable good understanding of equity and commodities markets
- Experience in developing marketing plans and coordinating execution with other marketing teams
- Experience in managing digital campaigns and tracking metrics
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Experience creating marketing collateral, both traditional and digital
- Entrepreneurial mind-set and an ability to adapt and learn a new market
- Ability to drive lead generation and campaign management
- Ability to multi-task in a time pressure environment
- Ability to successfully partner with Sales, Product Managers, and the internal creative agency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills..
