Role Responsibility
An exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant for BBC Worldwide has become available.
The Management Accountant will provide a high level of support by producing insight and analysis to drive decision making. The Management Accountant will be at the centre of business planning (forecasts and five year plans) and budget management, whilst running and managing the month end process
Role Responsibilities
The Management Accountant will be the key finance contact for the BBC Store and Ecommerce teams providing a bridge between the business and finance.
You will act as financial support to the BBC Store and Ecommerce teams, along with implementing and monitoring key financial controls.
It will be your responsibility to look after forecasting and budgeting the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
You will compile the monthly reporting deck presenting monthly highlights, performance, risks and opportunities to Senior Management.
Preparation and analysis of departmental/business accounts and day to day finance support ensuring that all transactions are correctly recorded and reported will be integral to your role.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will be a qualified accountant or finalist with:
Experience of working in a multi-site or multi-national business.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise workload appropriately.
Able to work with many stakeholders and meet their requirements.
Strong communication skills, able to adapt communication style to a wide range of business users, including non-financial people...
