Job Details:
The Red Hat Finance team is looking for a Payroll Analyst to join us in Singapore. In this role, you will ensure the payroll is processed in an accurate and timely manner. You'll interpret pay policies like vacation, LOA, disability, worker's compensation, union contracts, government regulations, withholding exemptions, etc., and ensure the appropriate amounts and deductions are calculated and applied correctly. You will also verify compliance with federal and state payroll requirements and stay current with changes in the law.
Primary job responsibilities
*.Assist with audits of internal records, worker's compensation, tax filings, and related documentation
*.Serve as the representative to employees and with third party payroll vendors to ensure payroll processing accurately reflects company-specific pay policies
*.Audit employee pay records and reconcile totals by department, location, country, etc.
*.Coordinate third party payroll system implementations and upgrades
*.Document payroll processes and procedures
Required skills
*.5+ years of experience handling payroll for APAC countries
*.Working knowledge of payroll practices and procedures
*.Ability to research answers, seek solutions, and follow through on complex tasks
*.Excellent organizational skills and a high attention to detail
*.Efficient administration of payrolls, including the auditing of payroll results
*.Ability to work within a global team
*.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal..
