Job Details:
As the Senior Bridge Engineer, you will lead the bridge design team on a number of bridge projects of various sizes. You will also be expected to lead the bridge team as part of a broader multi-disciplinary team on larger projects. Main responsibilities include:
*.Managing all stages of design for bridge and other road related structures
*.Interface with the client and the broader team on all matters relating to the bridges and structures
*.Ensure that all work is done to appropriate standards, and complies with internal Aecom design standards where applicable
*.Compile technical reports relating to bridge and roads related structures
*.Respond to contractor queries and attend site meetings as required
*.Manage the day to day running of a team of 2 to 3 technicians and draughtspersons
*.Support the District Practice Area Lead in business development endeavors

*.Bachelors degree in civil engineering with strong academic record
*.Registration as a Professional Engineer with ECSA (or international equivalent)
Minimum Requirements
*.Minimum 10 years relevant experience in bridge design and management
*.Hands on experience of bridge and structural design software (eg Prokon)
