Job Details:
We are looking for a senior level PHP developer to help our team build and maintain our exciting audio hosting and delivery platform.
Our developers work across the entire stack, from UI to backend services, depending on their experience and interests. We have a relaxed office environment and work with exciting open source tools and technologies.
Location:Southern Suburbs, Cape Town, South Africa
Salary:R30-35k per month
Please note:at this stage we will consider only developers already residing in Cape Town or those with immediate and existing plans to relocate. We cannot at this stage consider foreign nationals unless you are already residing here with a valid work visa.
You will be REQUIRED to have:
*.5 years programming experience, at least 2 years of PHP experience.
*.Experience using git or other revision control system.
*.Working knowledge of networking, web infrastructure and Linux.
Experience with any of following will be VERY ADVANTAGEOUS:
*.CodeIgniter MVC framework. (or ExpressionEngine)
*.NGINX, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis.
*.Knowledge of audio compression standards and digital audio manipulation.
*.Using and providing REST-full web-services.
*.HTML, CSS, Javascript, Bootstrap, JSON.
*.Automated deployments, configuration management.
*.Unit testing, bug-tracking and continuous integration systems.
*.Go / iOS / Objective-C development.
