An excellent job opportunity exists for a talented Structural Engineer to join our expanding Building Engineering team in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin.
The team provides civil, structural, mechanical + electrical design services to a variety of clients . We work in Revit 3D as standard for structures and MEP where appropriate. We are also providing specialist BIM services to the Irish market.
We provide structured training and excellent support with continuing professional development to support your career progression within AECOM.
Current projects include:
*.The Curragh Racecourse Redevelopment, with Grimshaw Architects
*.DAA Capacity Expansion and Refurbishment projects, with Pascall + Watson Architects
*.Grange Gorman Primary School, with Grafton Architects
*.Commercial Headquarters buildings for various clients, including the Central Bank of Ireland with Henry J Lyons Architects
*.Datacentres
Minimum Requirements
*.BSc/MSc in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent with post graduate design experience with an engineering consultancy.
*.Building structure design experience using all the main materials on a variety of structures projects
*.Capable of working under minimal supervision
*.Experience in Eurocodes essential
*.Knowledgeable in finite element and frame analysis software for steel and RC frames, flat slabs, etc.
*.Revit expertise advantageous
Preferred Qualifications
*.Near Chartered/ Chartered Status
*.Knowledge and experience in the Irish market...
