Job Details:
Your main responsibilities will include monitoring and managing all environments as well as designing, scaling out and maintaining a distributed hybrid Cloud-based Infrastructure. You will implement horizontally scaled out systems, allowing global growth. Added to this, you will also be automating, building, deploying and destroying Servers from quick POCs to mission critical Clusters. Analysing and improving efficiency, scalability and stability of various system sources is also part of your role, all while interfacing with other teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa.
To succeed in this role, you have experience operating in a distributed, multi-tenancy environment. You will also have in-depth knowledge of Linux Systems and MySQL with an innate ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-tier Architecture. You’re passionate about online and you have a hands on attitude. Independence, flexibility and speed are as important to you as gaining international experience. You are a self-learner with a high drive, and the ability to achieve goals complete your profile.

*.B.Sc. in Computer Science or related field
*.+3 experience in System Engineering and Operations
*.Advanced experience with Virtualization Solutions
*.Proficiency in authoring and managing Configuration Management Frameworks such as Chef, Puppet, CFEngine
*.Familiarity with data transfer protocols HTTP(s), REST, SOAP, JSON
*.Solid knowledge of Unix systems (especially Ubuntu)
*.MySQL experience
*.Experience with OS internals, filesystems, programming language design, compilers
*.Good knowledge of Perl, PHP, Bash or Python
*.Excellent communication skills both oral and written
*.Excellent system-level design ability
*.Experience with Networking (Cisco, F5)
*.Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
*.Ability to code and script
*.Experience with Systems, Database and IT operations
*.Familiar with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
*.Strong grasp of automation tools
*.Data management skills
