Job Details:
•To provide spoke with timely and accurate reports- (Management,IFRS,Forecast,Budget,etc) which reconciles to the underlying records •Ensure standardization of reports wherever possible •Discuss and Migrate best practice reports to spoke •Constant review of reports to avoid duplication
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Roles and Responsibilities •Run and provide daily, month and quarterly reports to spokes (ALCO, PCS, Daily MI, ALM Liquidity, Cost Report, Daily PnL & BS,Revenue Recon.) •Perform first cut detail analysis and review of reports, making the necessary corrections before signaling readiness of these reports to spoke •Assist spoke in the definition of requirements for new/revisions in reports and in consultation with Chennai and Head of reporting make the necessary corrections •Inform Head of reporting of potential problems in the delivery of reports •Prepare and analyse KPIs for discussion with Head of reporting and spoke •Document/update the procedures for generating reports •Review and recommend improvements in the reporting environment •Provide an analysis of unusual/unreasonable trends for review by Spoke •Run and prepare Customer Profitability Report (CPR) for Ghana •Efficient operations of the hub in the delivery of spoke requirements •The understanding of the financial dynamics and dimensions of the hub/Spoke •The establishment of the financial and management information needs the formats these should take and the frequency with which these should be produced. •The development of management information systems with spoke/hub and efficient support to the Spoke
Qualifications and Skills
Qualifications and skills •University degree preferable in Business or Accounting plus at least three years experience in a middle management accounting position of a busy financial /commercial organization •High level of computer literacy and understanding of business computing environments •Comprehensive understanding of the Banking practice and theory in operating systems and internal reporting requirements •Strong knowledge in Management Accounting Principles •Strong analytical skill and an eye for detail •Good communication and interpersonal skills...
