Business Transformation Analyst - Spark | BBC - London

Job Details:
The role is based in London but there will be UK travel as many projects are outside of London, and occasionally we need to travel on a Sunday. BBC Spark sits within the Strategy & Digital Division, but is responsible for inspiring and driving change across the BBC and is supported by the top levels of the BBC.
Role Responsibility
You will be working on projects as part of a joint team with staff from the area undergoing the change (e.g. programme makers) and other Spark team members. You will be an ambassador for Spark and a crucial part of your role will be to lead on data analysis.
Following our Spark approach for projects, which is based on Lean methodology, you will be using different techniques to help develop solutions - we will teach you these. You will be working in Microsoft Office applications regularly and producing high quality work in PowerPoint and Excel to a variety of audiences.
This role will also give you experience for implementing some elements of the project working with other team members. You will be organising and facilitating workshops, making sure all attendees are able to contribute constructively and making sure outputs are captured by the Spark team.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will offer strong data analysis skills, be very competent in Excel (complex modeling is unlikely be required) and PowerPoint, and possess an understanding of organisational dynamics, operational change and projects.
Strong communication skills are essential and you will have the ability to use a range of styles, tools and techniques appropriate to the audience and the nature of the information. You will also be an excellent problem solver, offering the right balance of creativity and pragmatism, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and instigate positive change to achieve business goals...
