Plans and performs technical activities to service the customer and brings expertise to customer site on need basis.
Main Responsibility Area
Plans and executes technical tasks requiring specialist skills in own professional area. Works independently with the responsibility for solving customer request cases and reporting according to processes. Identifies and solves technical problems. Shares knowledge in own professional area. May support areas by participating in emergency and 24/7 duty.
Position Description
• Network Monitoring for Alarms for all Network Elements.
• Reacting at the right time to the service affecting issues
• Assign the Trouble Ticket for outage alarm with in SLA
• Understands AM main interfaces including: Field Operations, i.e. not
only within NOC/GNOC
• Manages/Uses the Alarm Management processes and tools to detect,
Assign the problems in line with Operator/other SLA’s and internal OLA’s
• The role will involve work in the Network Operations Centre on a 24x7
shift Rota basis.
• Opening trouble tickets from network alarms or external fault reports,
escalating trouble tickets, both technical and management.
• Alarm Monitoring, Fault Localization/Correction/Verification*
• Liaises with subcontractors and 3rd parties to resolve faults
• Liaises with other service providers regarding network outages
• Supports endend
support, coordination and control of assigned
Trouble Tickets
• Supports Major service outage investigations and follow up
• Ensures planned outages are carried out/rolled back in maintenance
window
• Ensures Operator Customer Care is fully updated for service affecting
outages
