Job Details:
This position performs a variety of engineering and design management work related to airport design and operational consultation. The incumbent has suitable knowledge of multiple subject areas or disciplines; thorough understanding of business objectives, priorities and strategy for own area; and understands industry practices and competitors
With minimal supervision, the individual at this level is responsible for independently applying advanced engineering techniques and analyses for problems and methods or under a design management role applying said techniques and analyses in establishing design objectives, monitoring progress, reviewing deliverables
*.Work to establish clear objectives, monitor progress, review deliverables for value, technical compliance, good practice
*.Suggest and promote alternatives where appropriate that may present better value, provide a superior solution or better meet client objectives
*.Facilitate meetings and workshops
*.Identify and monitor risk, opportunities and issues including their mitigation or action
*.Support and facilitate interfaces with stakeholders (both internal and external to the client) to support the design process
*.Represent the Client to deliver design outcomes that meet objectives and provide value · Interface with stakeholders to facilitate design process, gain “buy-in”, develop workable construction planning
*.Provide reports to the Engineering workstream lead on status, achievements, planned activities, spend etc.
*.Support Engineering workstream lead in contract administration of design engineer and any other contracts required
*.Draft technical notes or reports as may be required in support of scoping or technical decision making
Qualifications & Skills Required:
*.BSc or MSc graduate of an engineering discipline
*.10 years’ experience in airfield infrastructure project design and project management
*.Direct experience in new runway and major airfield upgrade projects
*.Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer License (PE) desirable..
