•A capable and creative software developer capable of taking part in the full product life cycle from analysis, design, testing/implementation, deployment and support.
•Eager to use Agile practices such as Continuous Integration and Test Driven Design.
Desired Skills:
•Commercial development experience using an object oriented language.
•Experience of Agile Software methodologies and techniques such as Continuous Integration and Delivery.
•Knowledge of Smalltalk.
•Good at working independently.
•Good at working in a distributed team.
•Great verbal and written communications.
Useful Skills:
•Customer support experience.
•Mac OS X, Windows and Linux platform experience especially in a server environment.
•Development using Web Protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS and SOAP.
•Some database experience as a programmer.
•Experience of programming print formats such as PDF, Postscript, AFPDS, DJDE/Metacode
•MQ Series
•JavaScript
Qualifications:
•Demonstrable track record of successful software development.
•A bachelor’s degree with software development experience.
•A master’s degree in Computer science.
Location:
This job can be located in any of the following countries; UK, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany or Switzerland. The applicant must have residency and work permit rights in the country in question, as well as the ability to travel within the EU.
