Minimum 3 years as a Data Analyst or Data Architect or Data Modeler Minimum 2 years Developing, Deploying and Managing MS SQL Server solutions incl. SSIS, SSRS
Job Summary
The Data Analyst/Solution Engineer would be responsible for the implementation, build and management of data models, Microsoft SQL Server environments and data management activities including Data Governance.
Job Tasks
• Develop & Manage Reporting solutions incl. Business Objects Reports & Report Universe or other Symantec layer, Excel Power Pivot and SQL Reporting Services
• Create, Design, Develop, Implement & Manage Microsoft SQL Server incl. Database Services, Integration Services & Reporting Services.
• Create/Develop, Design, Manage and Analyze Data Models in tools such as Embarcadero or Informatica.
• Create Data Models for Big Data (NoSQL or Hadoop) and relational systems (3rd Normal Form and Star Schema)
• Create, Manage and Analyze Data Dictionary incl. Business Catalog and Data Linage.
• Exposure to Excel and Access would be advantageous in the endeavor to migrate solutions built using these technologies to SQL
• Create, Develop and Manage ETL processes in Informatica and/or SSIS. A background using Map Reduce technology would also be useful...
