Job Details:
Provide clinical care, encompassing physiotherapy assessment, treatment and management of own caseload.
Perform advanced, specialised assessment of patients including those with highly complex presentations to formulate a diagnosis and treatment plan which is carried out as an autonomous practitioner.
Adapt and develop services in own area, following discussion and agreement with the Clinic Medical Director, in response to demand and current clinical evidence. Supervise, initiate and participate in evidence-based projects and be responsible for implementing change within the designated team/area and setting and monitoring standards of practice.
Requirements Graduate from a Bachelor's degree program in physical therapy from an accredited educational institution, college or university.
Must have at least 3 years of work experience since gaining the highest qualification in Physiotherapy.
Must be able to check the working conditions of all Physiotherapy equipments daily and report any problems.
Must be proficient in the English language.
Knowledge of computers is important.
Excellent personal attributes.
Good interpersonal skills and should relate to other staff members and be able to successfully contribute to training functions. Preferably DHA / HAAD license holder.
Key Outputs Responsible for the treatment assessment of physiotherapy patients.
Responsible to the clinician in charge of the case for provision of best physiotherapy treatment to patients.
Provide written reports and notes for individual patients on the clinical findings and maintain progress reports on each patient.
Attend in-service training sessions.
Maintains knowledge of current developments and new techniques by keeping up to date with published reports.
Reports to the Clinic Manager for any duty which may be required in order to fulfill the overall responsibilities.
