Job Details:
Geneva Trading is seeking two Nighttime Operators to support our proprietary software and trading infrastructure. One of the positions will be for the company’s Foreign Exchange group and the other opening will be for Geneva’s High Frequency Trading group. This individual will work during our night shift Sunday-Friday (5 days), monitoring our trading systems, capitalizing on trading opportunities, and managing positions accumulated during the day.
Position Description:
The responsibilities of the Nighttime Operator include real-time troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment, monitoring and supporting trading systems, and working with our traders and developers to facilitate trading. We expect all of our employees to have strong systematic and analytical skills and an ability to solve complex problems. Successful candidates have a strong desire to “own” their projects and express a willingness to tackle new problems.
What do we look for?
*.Bachelor's degree required
*.0-3 years’ experience in a technical support, trading, or operator role.
*.Ability to anticipate problems and effectively follow up
*.Experience in programming with scripting languages (Python/Matlab/R)
*.Proficient with MS Excel and Powerpoint
