Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and manage partner marketing program activities that supports and proactively contribute to the success of Commercial Channel Sales.
Establish and drive effective marketing campaigns with top channel partners.
• Ensure alignment of top partner marketing activities with HP’s strategic direction and business initiatives.
• Jointly manage activities based on strategic initiatives, campaigns, metrics and funding requirements.
Effective management of Partner Market Development Fund (MDF)
• Lead in the transformation of MDF usage towards aligning to Channel Marketing priorities
• Review MDF plans and ensure alignment to Business category & strategic intent
• Ensure high quality SMART country plans are submitted timely for approval (by early M-1)
• Ensure that MDF are appropriately and fully utilized
Drive the adoption & usage of CMZ (Co marketing zone) assets.
• Ensure that CMZ is successfully launched and are relevant to Partners
• Drive CMZ usage and adoption rate with specific ROI goals established
Effective management and activation of Marketing Service Agencies (MSA)
• Drive an effective MSA model in country to support the Partner MDF programs.
• Monitor and drive progressive improvement in service level of the MSA.
Manage effectiveness of Partner Training & Communication Events with clear ROI metrics.
Effective management of Channel Development Fund (CDF)
• Manage the funding allocation with clear ROI metrics.
• Drive regular progress review between region and Commercial Channel Sales team
• Effectively track ROI of CDF activities – including upside funding request/allocation
Secondary Role (supporting) :-
Simplify and raise efficiency of in-country Partner Profiling process.
• Manage profiling changes in alignment with APJ strategic framework and direction
• Lead transformation of simplified profile framework and contribute constructively to enhancing profiling process.
Transform Partner Quota loading process.
• Drive enhanced Partner Quota loading process & enhancement with APJ
• Ensure complete submission deadlines and contribute constructively to quarterly quota deployment process.
Leverage APJ PartnerOne PFR Program Framework & Manage Rebate Exceptions
• Manage Post Rebate exception and approval process with APJ management approval
Channel Programs - Framework & Rebate Exceptions
• Establish and manage a effective yet audit compliant process to support specific channel programs
Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
• Business Analyst (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marketing or related field; Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred
• 5-7 years marketing experience
• Partner, sales, industry or channel experience a plus
Knowledge and Skills Required:
• In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools
• Experience in developing and driving consistency with partners
• Excellent written/oral communications and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to manage virtual teams
• Strong negotiating skills
• Ability to interface effectively with multiple levels of management and functional disciplines
• Strong ability to influence and drive consensus..
