Volvo Group Trucks Sales is responsible for sales and marketing of trucks branded Volvo, Renault Trucks, Mack and UD worldwide. Volvo Group Trucks Sales is also responsible for the joint venture relationship between the Volvo Group and Eicher Motors Limited. With Volvo Group Trucks Sales you will be part of a global and diverse team of highly skilled professionals working with energy, passion and respect for the individual to become the world leader in sustainable transport solutions.
Position DescriptionRole (Purpose of the job)
To lead the marketing team to:
*.Ensure that we have the right products, with the right specifications / features at the right prices in Indonesia and we adopt the right promotional strategies to reach out to our target customers so that they are aware, familiar and consider our products for their commercial transportation needs.
*.Continuously monitor the Indonesian market, competitors and the transportation segments and their trends to stay update on market trends, customer needs and wants to explore and introduce new Volvo Group Trucks products or update existing products to deliver better value through differentiated features and better performance compared to competitors.
*.Price position the Volvo group trucks products in line with the value it delivers to the customers through its differentiated features and performance. To review price positioning periodically to balance / improve competitiveness and profitability.
*.Create and execute an impactful brand and product and service promotion plan for all the Volvo Group truck brands in Indonesia to sustain/improve the strong brand image and promote sales.
*.Follow up and create action plan to improve measurable brand and CS position for each Asia Sales brand in Indonesia
Key Responsibilities
*.Manage a team of brand, product and marketing specialists to deliver in the fields of brand management, marketing communication, exhibitions and events, internal and external communication, segmentation, markets research, product strategy, product management, sales engineering support, superstructure solutions, price positioning and price management, CS improvement and aftermarket marketing communication
*.Overall responsible for marketing budget, related to customer and internal employee events.
*.Engage and communicate with the Vehicle Sales and Marketing (VSM) team in AOS HQ
*.Be the link to brand management specialists in Volvo Group Truck brands, and participate in relevant projects and discussion forums
Key interfaces
*.Local AOS Market Indonesia management team and team leaders.
*.AOS HQ functions.
*.Management team of all the Volvo Group Truck brands distributors in Indonesia AOS HQ Vehicle Sales and Marketing functions (brand and marketing team, vehicles sales team, product support team).
*.Other Asia Oceania Sales functions such as Aftermarket, Retail development and Business Intelligence.
*.Interact with Brand and Marketing related persons in brands - Volvo Trucks, Renault Trucks and UD Trucks
Key performance indicators
*.Brand image position and CS scores in BCS survey.
*.Market Share development and price increases for profitability.
*.New segment penetration.
*.Product plan and introductions as per plan.
*.Marketing communication plan and execution as per plan.
*.Marketing budget control and compliance.
*.Marketing activities effectiveness measurements...
