Job Details:
The HR Business Partner is responsible for developing and implementing HR business plans in the business unit. The HRBP manages the HR function and budget.
The job holder works closely with the GM EAML, Group HRD, HODs on HR policies and programmes, EAML Union leadership, EABL HR Management team, Non-management and Management staff of EAML. The job holder also liaises with F.K.E, Ministry of Labor, National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) and other relevant professional bodies on various HR matters.
The Admin part of the role is similar to In-Market first point contact which will handle HR Query Resolution (Complex queries referred to the market from the HR Shared Service Centre and the coordination and delivery of various local HR activities for EAML.
This role will focus on proactive and brilliant customer service to EAML Line Managers and Employees. Performance goals are clear but stretching, teamwork is a fundamental part of the culture and success is measured by outcomes, not just inputs, with an eye for process improvement.
Purpose of role:
To positively impact individual and business performance using the levers of Organization Effectiveness, Talent, Reward and Engagement working with the business leaders to create a high performance growth culture that drives outstanding business results. The role works closely with the BU head to deliver the mission, goals and growth of EAML. Also a key operational extension of the first point Shared Service Centre for the delivery of HR services within their assigned market(s).
Top Accountabilities:
*.Work to ensure that the structure, processes, culture and capabilities are in place to support the business strategy. Act as a change leader to make this happen.
*.Work with the leaders and employees across the sites to develop/maintain high levels of engagement. Hold the team to account for delivering super engagement goals by linking and underpinning everything we do with our values.
*.Lead the recruitment and selectionof best talent for EAML, grow the talent base and strengthen succession locally in line with EABL diversity strategy and goals. Coach & assist in the facilitation of employee performance management while driving both people and business growth. Ensure appropriate training and development programmes are available to meet the needs of the business and employees.
*.Advises employees and management on the interpretation of HR policies, programs and procedures. Represents the Company during the Grievance and Arbitration process andall labour disputes at Ministry level or industrial court. Industrial relations management, CBA negotiations and implementation of terms and conditions.Works with site leaders and the union to maintain a positive labour relations environment.
*.Management of HR contracts with 3rd parties to provide quality services and within agreed budgets. Support all activities that lead to sustenance.
*.Takes ownership for and resolves anycomplex, market specific queriesreferred to them that require either detailed market knowledge or a face to face intervention.Qualification & Experience:
*.First degree in HR management or sociology.
*.Post graduate diploma in HR management
*.At least 3 years’ experience in related field preferably in an FMCG environment
*.Knowledge of Job evaluation methods, Industrial relations and Employee legal and regulatory requirements...
