About the Role
This role will be based at Baileys Nangor Road and will report to the Baileys Supply Quality Control Team Leader working as part of the Baileys Bushmills Compliance Team.To support Processing and Bottling Teams QC activity, thus ensuring that all manufactured goods are produced according to quality specifications.
Key Responsibilities
*.Ensure that all manufactured goods are produced according to quality specifications and are compliant with government regulations and standards.
*.Training of process and bottling operators in relation to the carrying out of all routine quality checks according to procedure and the compliance of results to specifications
*.Responsible for monitoring and interpreting all analytical, chemical analysis. microbiological (including sending samples to external lab) and monitor checks to ensure compliance with specifications from raw materials through to final products across cream blend process bottling and packaging.
*.Reporting and trending of quality data and support root causing and issue close out.
*.Ensure all plant quality assurance equipment is calibrated and maintained and that all routine quality checks are carried out in the appropriate manner to the required frequencies and in line with CLAS and ISO requirements.
*.Assume responsibility for other ad-hoc work( e.g projects, trends, attend meetings ,root cause sessions, cover other roles in the lab ) as required by Quality Control Team Leader.
Qualifications & Experience
*.Third level degree in a food related science.
*.Previous experience in a similar role in Food and Drinks Industry.
*.Computer literacy including SAP, Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
*.Excellent problem solving skills, and able to use initiative whilst under pressure...
