Job Details:
As a part of the Sales Operations Team for the Republic of Ireland (which is part of the wider Commercial Effectiveness Team), this role provides crucial Sales performance reporting and analysis for the ROI Sales Leadership Team as well as a range of other analyst functions for the market.

Key Accountabilities
The Performance Analyst supports Commercial teams (ROI) through:
1)Management of the Business Performance Scorecard on a monthly basis by Market/Region and down to Sales Rep level. Ability to adapt the scorecard in line with business requirements.
2)Provision of Data Scorecards to Ireland Leadership Team and Europe Route to Consumer team.
3)Delivery of CRM (Salesforce) reporting with insight and recommendations: Starting with – Call Coverage, Product Distribution + Visibility (and other survey data) and building over time to become the hub of CRM Business intelligence.
4)To provide data and recommendations to the commercial leaders of both channels - on and off trade. This data should identify product and distribution gaps in both channels through using sales, market share and CRM data. The conversion of these gaps will drive profitability and enable Diageo to beat the competition.
5)To merge internal data with external data sources such as A C Nielsen, Central Statistics office and other digital data sources in order to confirm trends and validate specific risks / opportunities.
6)Supporting the various overlay commercial projects in the commercial channels through the provision of additional analysis from a variety of data sources.
7)Ensuring that day to day operational data systems are kept up to date including but not limited to: Customer Data, Journey Planning, Territory/Regional changes…etc.
8)Contributing to the provision and distribution of WOWHOWs (Ways of working tools) as related to the role responsibilities.
9)Sales Operational support across a range of projects as required.
Qualifications and Experience Required
Need to know/Need to be:
•Strong analytical skills – ability to interrogate data sets from various sources to determine performance and business gaps.
•Able to identify trend changes in a timely fashion and highlight in order that declines can be addressed and opportunities maximised.
•Curiosity that drives analysis to arrive at answers.
•Master user of MS Excel. MS Access, SAP Business Warehouse and Salesforce CRM also desirable and the aptitude to embrace other technologies as required.
•Requires an understanding of the commercial landscape in an FMCG company and experience in ways of working across multiple channels.
•Ability to manage multiple and complex processes, complex data inputs, cross-functional ways of working.
•Able to step up and deputise for the Sales Operations Manager to ensure business continuity for Annual Leave or other planned or unplanned absences.
•Calm under pressure and ability to work on own initiative.
•Ability to course correct at very short lead times when required to do so to resolve key issues as they arise.
•Strong Passion for a Help Sell Agenda
Recommended Qualifications:
1.Business or Financial Degree
2.Previous commercial experience in an FMCG company..
