Job Details:
Position DescriptionPerforms professional level analysis and control functions in area of assignment.
Major/Essential Functions
*.Collates leadership reviews of proposed Managed Care agreements and amendments, collates and records MCO responses to reviews
*.Works with Director on special/large-scale, institutional projects to obtain/maintain/report required information
*.Tracks & reviews existing contracts & assures they are updated as dictated by contract start/end dates
*.Responds to general inquiries from departments and managed care organizations
*.Runs and analyzes reports with regards to contract volume, reimbursement levels, and clinical activity to provide recommendations to Director (for process improvement and business opportunities)
*.Collaborate with departments to develop controls and streamline processes to ensure contract obligations are met.
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in related field. Three (3) years related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal seven years.
Preferred QualificationsAbility to identify, analyze and resolve problems; detail oriented with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously. Basic knowledge of contract terminology. Prior experience in health plans and government programs. Bachelor's degree in business or public administration...
