•Minimum two years production planning and/or scheduling experience in manufacturing environment
•Strong Supply Chain IT Systems (Planning/Scheduling)

•Good English oral and writing skills.

Details:
Job Purpose / Key Responsibilities:
Converts high level supply plan into a finite schedule based on defined production strategies, while ensuring maximum operational efficiency, balance to cost and capacity.
Accountability:
•Manages the short term planning process by converting the 0 – 13 week supply plan into an optimised production schedule
•Set-up and distribute the weekly production schedule based on pre-determined optimal production run sequences, optimal utilisation of available resources and deliver plan to production for execution
•Record production results and report to the relevant functions in order to initiate corrective actions and to enhance effective planning
•Monitors, analyzes, and reports performance to schedule of production activities (Conformance to Plan) utilizing information derived from material and production control systems.
•Ensure that local ERP system reflects the optimised production scheduled and/or changes to the schedule
•Build and maintain Flexible Repeating Schedule process, reviewed quarterly to refresh cycle based on demand changes and site performance
•Coordinate & Facilitate daily supply performance meetings (batch tracking) in order to build strong relationships between different support functions
•Escalate supply related issues to relevant Supply Planner and prepare weekly deck on CTP Root Causes Analysis, Material Availability issues and SOLS events (Stock out/Low Stock)
•Works closely with the Supply Planner to drive the Rough Cut Capacity Process and ensure that it delivers an achievable plan in the 3 month time period.
•Recommend adjustments to the short term plan to ensure optimal utilisation of resources (people, machines and materials).
•Jointly work with Materials Planner to ensure availability of materials to meet the supply plan
•Ensure that all 1st touch procurement processes are implemented and appropriate action is taken to resolve supplier related issues timeously
•Maintain the relevant master data relevant to scheduling in order to retrieve up to date data for effective planning (batch sizes, shift patterns, crew factor, demonstrated run rates, C/O, product sequence matrix, cycle times, PM, shutdown calendars, product conversion cost, inventory holding cost, asset depreciation, etc)...
