Description
This is an exciting time to join the Dublin based AOL Global Shared Service Center (SSC) as we expand our capability to support increased work volumes due to recent global acquisitions. You’ll get to support our teams globally (other than US, Canada and UK) and therefore offering great scope and variety in your day to day tasks.

In a true collections capacity you will ensure effective management of the company’s A/R portfolio and credit risk management. Either on the phone or via email you will:
*.Support the Accounts Receivable Supervisor on the collections of International accounts receivables.
*.Perform daily collection activities to ensure compliance with AOL collection and credit policies.
*.Ensure that all debts are promptly collected using collection efficiency and keeping 90+ days to a minimum.
*.Document all collection and A/R inquiry activities.
*.Liaise with internal departments to ensure any invoice disputes are resolved quickly and credit notes approved and raised.
*.Perform reconciliations on accounts and prepare reports on a weekly/monthly basis.
*.Build strong business relationships with internal & external customers.
*.Identify opportunities for business efficiencies within the AR function.
*.Provide effective support when called upon to work on ad-hoc projects.
*.Month end duties.
*.Assist with year-end / audit duties
Qualifications
True success in this role stems from your articulate communication skills, both written and verbally, allowing you to negotiate and influence.
You will have established a good career particularly within the area of credit control. You’ll also have some great knowledge of legislation and best practice governing credit control.
Technically, you’ll hold a relevant degree within the broader financial sphere and possess a good knowledge of general accounting practices. You’ll be proficient in Excel and Word and will have previously worked with accounting software packages such as SAP.
Your experience within advertising, media or a related sector will be advantageous, as will your exposure within a fast-paced and complex, matrix organisational structure...
