Job Details:
Apple is looking for a Commercial Business Manager, South Africa who will be reporting to the Country Manager, South Africa.
This is a high impact role within the South African team, working closely with the Country Manager and Management Team. It is high profile internally and with the business and channel partners across the region. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing the regional Commercial Business strategy.
On a personal level, the ideal candidate must have the gravitas and be able to influence effectively within a matrix environment. She or he must also be comfortable operating with ambiguity and outside traditional boundaries.
A flexible, dynamic attitude is important. He or she will demonstrate a proven ability to lead and innovate, and articulate this to large groups of customers.
Key Qualifications
*.Work with Middle East Turkey Africa (META) Business to Business (B2B) and Education (EDU) Business Development Managers to build a strong B2B / Education reseller channel.
*.Develop existing resellers and engage new relevant resellers.
*.Work with the channel to identify strong B2B / EDU partners.
*.Position developers/alternative channel solutions to address Enterprise and B2B mobility needs.
*.Maintain a B2B / EDU channel readiness dashboard and manage on regular basis.
*.Work with META B2B & EDU BDMs & central teams to develop the Commercial channel proposition.
*.Be familiar with the details of the regional and global tools available to the B2B / EDU channel and lead implementation/localisation in the region.
*.Work with Sales Planning & Operations and Central teams to plan a B2B / EDU training curriculum delivery.
*.Put in place briefing programs addressing needs of each of the industries.
*.Work closely with carriers B2B teams and drive specific propositions targeting B2B customers.
*.Build and execute direct customer engagement strategy.
*.Prioritise potential customers and agree coverage model.
*.Develop engagement strategy with each account.
*.Hold regular B2B/EDU strategy review/update sessions with the stakeholders and ensure alignment and prioritisation.
*.Present at local 1:many briefings and other engagements as necessary.
*.Work with local teams to ensure appropriate implementation, consistent scoring and provide liaison with regional Finance teams to provide business back-up.
Description
Min 10 years of experience in B2B / EDU markets in South Africa.
Excellent command of English.
Understanding of both Solution and Insight Sales.
Proven track record in Channel development within Enterprise environment.
Understanding of the operational aspects of channel management (sales-in, sales-through and sales-out).
Knowledge of how to engage with Marketing to create the appropriate Enterprise / Education Channel development programs.
Understanding of South Africa Enterprise / Education Markets.
Strong analytical skills.
Pragmatic, practical professional with real passion for business development.
Constructive and collaborative; focus on execution.
Relationship building on all seniority levels, Influencing and negotiating skills.
Visionary and articulate, able to speak in front of large audiences.
Hands on, hardworking, highly motivated and autonomous.
