Job Details:
As a member of the infrastructure delivery team you will work in a highly collaborative, fast paced environment. Your primary responsibilities include all aspects of the IT disciplines known as systems management and configuration management. You will work closely with customers, engineers, and other service delivery towers in the organization to implement technical solutions and automation strategies that facilitate the efficient delivery of Desktop Engineering services.
R ole Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the current operating system image(s) based on stringent customer requirements using the Dell KACE K2000 Deployment Appliance
- Develop and automate solutions to complex business problems using advanced scripting techniques
- Identify, evaluate, and deploy operating system and third party application patches using standardized ITIL change management processes
- Prepare application packages using Windows Installer technology for unattended distribution to enterprise systems
- Improve existing standards and operational processes over time while incorporating new features and capabilities of Dell KACE as they are released
- Assist in the support and maintenance of the Dell KACE K1000 Systems Management Appliance infrastructure
- Continuously work to develop collaboration between Dell Services and the customers organization to provide an exceptional customer experience
Qualifications
Requirements
- 5 years’ experience working with configuration and systems management processes including operating system imaging, application packaging, software distribution, patch management, and scripting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Operating Systems including supporting technologies such as Active Directory and Group Policy
- 1 years’ experience in writing SQL queries and SQL reports including experience tuning queries to reduce the processing impact
- Strong customer service back ground and the ability to communicate highly technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to develop new solutions to complex technical problems
