HR Manager – Food Point & Linencraft | Emirates Flight Catering- UAE

Job Details:
This position is responsible for being the HR business partner for the business units of Food Point & Linencraft and reports to the Senior HR Manager - Recruitment and Employee Relations.
The HR Manager position is responsible for aligning HR objectives with business objectives in the designated business units and providing advisory support to the management on people solutions as well as being an employee champion and change agent.Key Accountabilities

Provide proactive advise to line managers through account management support on a variety of HR matters aligned to best practice including performance management, employee development (includes rewards and recognition), retention and talent management, Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.

The job holder will be a single point of contact to the business on a range of HR issues and in turn liaise with the subject matter experts in HR for effective service delivery (e.g. Recruitment, L&D, HR Shared Services etc.). The job holder will ensure that HR is integrated with the business and a seamless HR service is provided which will include advice on HR policy, Labour law and best practice.

Provide support and advice to business projects and organisational changes initiatives (including change management and internal communication) whilst actively liaising with other HR teams and support functions. Play a key role in creating an open and transparent culture that is based on the core EKFC values.

Pro-actively support the implementation of performance management within the business area and provide guidance to managers in the continued development of staff. Advise and guide managers in managing and growing talent including, objective setting, use of competencies, development plans, coaching and feedback. Support the business in actively managing under performers.

Support senior management team in the manpower budgeting exercise and organising resource requirements. Resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations. Comply with the Company Occupational Health and Safety Policy.

Partner with the business to improve retention of employees including UAE nationals and supporting line in creating a work environment which attracts and retains a high performing workforce. Employee engagement is a key area of focus.

Contribute to HR initiatives such as the development of new systems, and the introduction of new HR tools, processes and services. Support the development and implementation of HR and corporate policy/processes by researching and analysing data, facilitating management buy-in, through management awareness and staff communication.

Review and initiate process improvements to improve productivity and add value whilst improving the overall employee experience and morale. Define internal SLAs within HR so that the quality and timeliness of support to the business and employee is fulfilled.

Provide leadership and direction to the HR Specialist team by coaching and developing their professional knowledge and competence. Ensure individual development needs are identified and progressed.

Responsible for agreeing the annual HR plan for the business area after careful consideration of people related objectives, KPIS and the trends identified through focus groups...
