Role Responsibilities
*.Provides analysis in support of the development and implementation of key IT projects
*.Works with and supports Domain Managers, Strategists, Stakeholders and Development Leads in project execution
*.Provides documentation and communication of business needs and/or requirements with thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements
*.Understands implications of technical solutions
*.Collaborates and coordinates across all IT and business segments
*.Validates solution design through active participation
*.Analyzes customer requirements
*.Ensures consistency and adherence to Dell standards, processes and procedures
Roles in IT Include the Following
• Software Development Engineer: Responsible for the design and development activities associated with software using a range of applicable technologies (programming languages, compilers, assemblers, debuggers, other tools) for products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs. Analyzes requirements and develops innovative, useful software. Modifies existing software products to add new functions, adapt to new hardware, improve performance or enhance product usability. Participates in product development in all stages from planning and design to development and testing. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Assists training with production of formal training material for sales/marketing.
• Test Engineer: Analyzes and conducts thorough quality-control tests to ensure that software operates properly, is defect-free, and meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements. Documents and works to resolve all problems. Reports progress on problem resolution to leadership. Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations.
• Business Systems Senior Analyst: Provides cost effective business systems and applications analysis in support of the development and implementation of business applications. Includes evaluation, analysis, documentation of requirements, translation into proper system requirement specifications and configuration. Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both end-user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems, applications and industry requirements. Operates as a liaison between technical personnel and the appropriate end-user department. Teaches end users new technology and enhancements using all appropriate communication tools as well as providing support for existing systems.
• Technical Analysis Senior Analyst: Provides technical support and training to personal computer and PC network users. Assists users in solving problems using available hardware and software tools. Also supports, installs, and maintains personal computers, local area networks, server hardware, operating systems, software, and related IT sanctioned peripherals
• Network Engineer: Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects on network optimization...
