Summary
Simulation modelling in Infrastructure (rail and transport) projects. Work on a variety of different projects to analyse and improve clients logistics processes and systems, improve quality, cost reduction, enhance productivity and increase yield on resources.
Key Responsibilities
*.Use simulation, statistical and optimization techniques to identify system constraints and deliver optimum solutions.
*.Working on simulation and modelling projects on various projects within a dedicated project team.
*.Operating and testing scenarios to guarantee quality and customer satisfaction.
*.Designing modelling outputs (numerical, statistical and graphical) to communicate and interpret model results.
*.Understanding the problem to solve, data collection, verify that the data collected is correct and complete, simulation and building of models, testing and benchmarking against other models previously built.
*.Work in project teams reporting to a Project Manager and a the BU LeadQualifications and Experience
*.Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
*.2- 3 years simulation modelling experience preferable, applying simulation to complex processes if no experience then the passion and talent for simulation modelling
*.High analytical and problem solving skills, attention to detail, quick learner, can grasp concepts naturally, interpret trends.
*.Strong communications, presentation skills and a strong personality able to work in a dynamic solutions team environment and to interface with clients
*.Experience in advanced excel essential
*.Advantageous to have experience with any of the following tools gensys G2, Arena, RTC (rail traffic controller), OpenTrack, Simio...
