Description
Daily Management: Responsible for packaging management of one entire automotive plant with limited supervision.
Major and Minor Model Changes:Design and implementation of new packaging concepts.
Project:Support project assignment (25% Project).
Problem Investigation:Much of the daily activity revolves around problem avoidance or resolution.
Career Development:Willingness to transfer acquired skills to other areas of business.
Qualifications
Business, Math or Science Degree.
Prefer 1-3 years’experience, but not mandatory.
Toyota Production System (TPS):Willingness to learn and apply TPS principles.
Logistics:Ability to apply analytics to a supply chain environment.
Computer Skills:Strong Microsoft office skills, as well as an aptitude to learn new systems are essential.
Innovative Design:Ability to visualize new designs to ensure part protection during transportation.
Fiscal Responsibility:Maintain current and future costs within a significant annual budget.
Self-Motivation:Ability to complete tasks through to fruition.
Team Mindset:Strong interpersonal and team building skills (work with many stakeholders).
Organizational Skills:Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and
multi-task.
Problem Solver:Ability to interpret complex issues and implement sustainable solutions.
Communication:Superior written and verbal communication skills.
Flexibility:Mindset to provide a wide range of support activities in a dynamic environment
Quantitative Aptitude:High comfort level when working with calculations.
