Job Details:
As a Wintel Engineer you will be empowered to take responsibility for owning and providing the technical support management and admin of the active directory environment and will include group policy management, DNS, DHCP and server administration including monitoring and alerting. This will include the administration, organisation, monitoring and tuning of the databases as well as ensuring that they operate optimally whilst ensuring that they continue to achieve the service levels required by the business. You will also be responsible for owning and management of Windows Software inventory, error alerting, security patching, asset management and software licensing.
The Wintel Engineer will have knowledge of:
*.Excellent knowledge of, and competent in managing Windows active directory in a complex corporate environment.
*.Assist with maintaining the enterprise virtualisation environment (VMware)
*.Ensure servers and applications meet proper performance, security and capacity standards. This includes effective backup, disaster recovery and patching
*.Proven experience in
*.managing an enterprise server & application monitoring solution
*.managing an enterprise security, systems and asset management solution
*.managing an enterprise anti-virus solution
*.Manage the integrity of the Wintel environment and develop the environment
*.Take lead in fault diagnosis and rectification of Wintel environments.
You will have an MS Certification such as MCP, MCITP, MCSE etc and have an understanding of PCI and FSA compliance...
