Job Details:
The product quality engineer will under the supervision and in close cooperation with the Technical Q &W manager support our dealers and importers in technical quality related matters.
The product quality engineer will be working in close cooperation with the partners in Indonesia based on clear instructions from the Technical Q & W manager. Conduct regular visits together with our partners to key accounts and other selected end users another key priority for the PQE.
The product quality engineer will report to the Technical Q & W manager and will be measured upon the targets as specified in the annual PBP. The PQE will also be measured on his ability to provide support, propose and implement changes, problem solving and training as requested by customers, dealers and from ASRI headquarter
Key Responsibilities
*.Initiate, coordinate and compile information regarding investigations of market specific cases
*.Based upon request / field information regarding quality related matter conduct:
*.logging of DQR and quality reports
*.collect and compile all relevant documents needed for the case
*.identifying cause (e.g. driver abuse, quality issue, non-genuine parts / service, poor maintenance, vehicle specification)
*.identifying existing solutions and initiate local solutions
*.perform diagnosis if needed
*.MQR and PRP process
*.Follow up and further development of recall and campaign.
*.Visits on sight to selected key accounts according to agreed schedule.
*.Active support and problem solving linked to ARGUS and other dealer and customer care measures plus problem solving.
*.Assist and give practical support and training to the Dealers and Private Importers regarding technical quality handling and processes.
*.Follow up and initiate actions and local initiatives regarding business applications (technical quality) available on the portal.
*.Support and participate in the Market Quality Meeting with all relevant quality information as needed.
*.Monitor the vehicle data and registration process done by dealers / importer. Update VDA information if necessary.
*.Contact window regarding technical quality data, FST, information, bulletins and local adaptations incl. translation if needed.
*.Follow up and re-process returned claims from the factory
*.Claim handling for Service agreement.
*.Close cooperation with Warranty Handler to analyze and make approval for major warranty claims
Authority
*.To represent MC organization towards private importers/dealers.
*.To request Dealer action plan and drive the technical quality reporting process improvement.
*.To conduct deep investigation and study of operational condition on customer sites, related to major technical & quality cases.
*.To identify and request competence support and development needs for the Market or Dealer.
*.Follow the AS / ASRI authorization policies and guidelines

*.Technical Service, Quality and Warranty departments within GTS/GTT/AOS/VTC/RT/UD.
