Marketing Strategy Manager | Wheels Inc.- Des Plaines, IL, USA

Job Details:
Wheels is looking for an experienced strategic B2B Marketing Strategy Manager to help us create buying interest with potential and existing clients throughout the Fleet Management Industry. \
This position will be responsible for a wide range of strategic marketing & communications projects that showcase Wheels products, services, technology and client successes.
You will collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Operations and others across the company to develop service and selling tools including presentations, sell sheets, case studies, weekly newsletter, public relations and web content.
Candidates must have exceptional writing skills, be able to synthesize and simplify complex messaging, be able to write in a conversational, accessible style about a broad range of topics and be able to tell persuasive stories via text and imagery.
Written Content Development & Sales Support
*.Write original content for Sales and Account Management materials including PowerPoint presentations, sell sheets, white papers, case studies, email campaigns and web content
*.Create integrated materials that align both product messaging and company messaging
*.Provide marketing support for B2B trade shows, trade magazines, PR and speaking engagements
*.Train Sales and Account Management to optimize delivery of presentations and other marketing materials
*.Serve as editor of weekly e-newsletter
Visual Content Development
*.Package content graphically within PPT presentations
*.Direct in-house graphics artist and/or external agency for design of sell sheets, email campaigns, website, etc.
Research and Analysis
*.Through reading and interviewing: research, analyze and fully understand market conditions and challenges; industry, client and competitor trends; and Wheels’ unique strengths
*.Work closely and collaboratively with cross-functional peers to determine positioning, value proposition, messaging and creative strategy
*.Test and revise communication tools – work in-field with key stakeholders to assess effectiveness – revise and adapt tools accordingly
Planning and Project Management
*.Establish deadlines and track progress from creative brief to delivery
*.Manage the creation of marketing materials including content development, subject matter expert review process, proofreading and editing
Content Management
*.Maintain content database and conduct quarterly audits to ensure that content is accurate and current
*.Train end users in Sales and Account Management to optimize delivery of presentations and other marketing materials
*.Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or journalism
*.5-8 years demonstrated success developing and implementing strategic, integrated B2B marketing communications plans, programs and materials
*.Demonstrated ability in managing marketing programs from creative brief to execution
*.Ability to use data analysis to tell a powerful story
*.Experience interviewing experts to produce effective and motivating content
*.Strong creative, strategic, analytical, and communication skills (written, verbal and visual)
*.Strong project management and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
*.Excellent computer skills especially PowerPoint..
