Job Details:
Data Architect to support the business in achieving its strategic objectives.
As a Data Architectin the Data and Information Team (ISIT)team, you will have experience with high level design of the logical and physical architecture, logical and physical data model, meta data management and ETL. Candidate will also have experience building data dictionaries, dimensional data models, architecture diagrams, meta data repositories, data integration processes, ETL processes and data quality.
What we will expect you to do:
*.Gather requirements and perform analysis of data integration, reporting and analytical capabilities required from the business and general user community
*.Create project documentation, including project plans/schedules, requirements documents, architecture drawings, system design documents, architecture and data models, test plans, user manuals, deployment plans and operations manuals
*.Drafting and managing of data and information architectures, guidelines, standards and best practices
*.Own and manage the conceptual and logical data models – at EDW and Organisational (where applicable) level
*.Adopt innovative architectural approaches to leverage and develop in-house data integration capabilities consistent with architectural goals of the enterprise
*.Expert knowledge of Data Modelling and Data Warehousing Concepts and Architecture
*.Design and development of the data warehouse star scheme, fact tables, dimension tables, lookup tables, procedures and packages
*.Design and development of data integration routines to extract relevant data from multiple operational data sources; perform transformation, lineage, profiling, cleansing and mapping of extracted data; and loading data into the EDW
*.Participate in design and development of business intelligence components, including reporting capabilities, interactive dashboards, scorecards, analytics, data mining and data visualization
*.Perform ETL processes by using tools such as Talend, SQL, Informatica
*.Manage data quality throughout the ETL process and beyond
*.Manage ETL environment

Key Requirements
*.Graduate degree or equivalent experience
*.Minimum 10 years in the IT profession
*.Minimum 8 years of experience with architecting solutions for data warehouse, data integration and data standardization
*.Experience with data quality / data profiling tools and methodologies
*.Experience building data warehouses and transformation processes
*.Experience with conceptual, logical, relational and dimensional data modelling
*.Experience with various data intake, staging and integration methods
*.Experience with Sybase IQ, Cognos (Report Studio and Framework Manager), Talend (TIS, DQ and MDM) will be beneficial
*.Experience with SQL languages (PL-SQL, T-SQL)
*.ETL tools such as Informatica Power Centre
*.Data quality processes and methods..
