Job Details:
The Red Hat Operations team is seeking a Data Operations Specialist to join us in Cork, Ireland. In this role, you will serve as a local point of contact in the EMEA region for matters relating to customer data and associated systems. You'll develop, document, and maintain data quality goals and standards both globally and regionally, and perform customer data training within the region as needed. This is a 10-month contract role.
Primary job responsibilities
*.Oversee the maintenance and integrity of customer data in all systems through documented maintenance processes regarding the creation and updates of customer records
*.Provide input regarding cleansing and consolidation of customer data
*.Monitor data input processes for accuracy and potential customer data corruption; develop and recommend corrective actions for these issues
*.Perform customer reporting for the region utilizing Oracle, Salesforce.com, Hoovers, BusinessObjects, and OpenOffice
*.Communicate any issues and suggestions to the customer data supervisor
Required skills
*.Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
*.Oracle or Salesforce.com experience is a plus
*.Ability to accurately follow and maintain business process documentation
*.Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*.Interact with internal and external customers, achieving service levels as defined
*.Work with little instruction on day-to-day tasks, and achieve results when presented with only general instructions on new assignments
*.Ability to maintain an intermediate-level of functional knowledge of the required business systems and tools
*.Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and coordinate tasks to meet multiple deadlines
*.Flexible, comfortable with ambiguity, and adaptable to a high-change environment...
