Job Details:
The Microsoft Office 365 Exchange Enterprise Cloud Services Team is looking for an experienced and passionate Technical Engineer for the role as Service Operations 2, who is excellent at troubleshooting, who does not like solving problems following a document, but would rather solve the problem through software and automation.

Job Responsibilities:
This job includes a combination of Service Engineering responsibilities and close partnership with product teams on automation, efficient operations solutions, and optimization of managing large scale, geo-distributed datacenter solutions. Specific responsibilities include:
Problem Solving:
• Provide technical expertise for resolving critical production systems issues. You will also work with other teams or members to troubleshoot complex support issues, identify root causes and develop automation and mitigation options
Optimize & Innovate:
• Build and integrate automation and tooling capabilities to aid in faster assessment and quicker resolution of impacting incidents
Evaluate systems and technology:
• Assess new systems designs and technical strategies, work on operational readiness and drive those into the service.
Technical engineering:
• Support for the implementation, integration, and evolution of complex systems. Analyze key data and develop framework/scripts for administering the cloud.
Shift Rotation: Participate in the 24x7 shift rotation with 4 days on and 3 days off.
Expected Skills/Job Requirements:
• Uncanny ability to troubleshoot
• Confidence with using Exchange PowerShell
• Advance PowerShell scripting and/or the ability to code in Windows/Exchange PowerShell will be highly regarded
• Technical understanding of Exchange 2007, Exchange 2010 and/or Exchange 2013
• Troubleshooting AD Authentication and Name resolution issues (DNS)
• Ability to troubleshooting the Network Stack and analyze network traces (strong advantage if you have this)
• Strong working/support knowledge in applications written using C#/C++, .Net, ASP.NET, SOAP Web Services, SQL and Experience with WCF is a plus.
Experience / Qualifications:
• 3+ years' online services experience required
• 3+years’ of automation using code and/or scripting tools
• 2 Year+ experience in running 24x7 mission critical, enterprise systems.
• 4 Year degree in Computer Science preferred or equivalent work experience in relationship to systems development, network operations, software support and/or I.T. consulting...
