Summary:
The Educational Sales Consultant has the responsibility to ensure all registered students enroll on one of
Regenesys’s academic programmes by providing financial and non-financial solutions. The
main function of this position is to ensure drop-off rates are continuously reduced. The Student
Advisor is also responsible for ensuring outstanding customer service
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Data management
*.Accurately capture information regarding interactions with students into the CRM system.
2. Sales
*.Generate leads
*.On sell to graduated students
*.Respond to sales queries from existing or potential students and clients
3. Financial assistance to students
*.Assistance with student loan applications and bursaries
4. Non-financial assistance to students
*.Accommodation assistance
5. Student Registrations
*.Advise students of class commencements and orientation programmes
*.Send out student support and welcome communication to new students
*.Maintain attendance registers
*.Ensure all relevant study material and documentation are released timeously
*.Attend the beginning of all facilitation and orientation sessions and monitor processes
*.Manage registration and module commencement logistics
6. Customer service:
*.Welcome students on a daily basis when they are on campus
*.Interact with students during their lunch hour when they are on campus to address any
*.issues
*.Manage all administrative customer queries (inbound/outbound calls and via email and telephonically with email follow-up)
*.Communicate professionally with students (in writing or telephonically)
*.Meet with students as and when needed
*.Provide email and telephone follow up and support to students wrt progress, attendance, assignment submission
*.Identify ‘at risk students’ (drop outs and inactive) and arrange for them to meet / liaise with the Programme Head or the PPM
7. Administration:
*.Update student records and clean the database
*.Submit all student administrative requests (e.g. late submissions, deferments, rewrites) to the Academic Committee for approval and ensure same-day and accurate feedback to the student
*.Ensure that handouts / print outs are copied and distributed to classes
*.Post student communication via bulk emails as required
*.Monitor attendance records and drop out and at risk rates
8. Course evaluations:
*.Distribute and collect course evaluations as per the evaluation schedule
*.Submit the forms to the Academic Committee for review, as received
*.Ensure that evaluation forms are captured, scanned in and filed.
9. Academic Rules and Processes:
*.Understand and communicate all aspects of the academic rules to students
*.Understand and adhere to all academic delivery processes and procedures and communicate these to students
*.Escalate any student concerns and recommendations
Requirements and Experience
*.Must have a car
*.Relevant diploma/degree in Sales/Marketing/Communications/Finance/Education is preferred
*.Financial/Banking experience will be beneficial for this post
*.Minimum of two years’ experience in dealing with financial solutions (loans) for customers
*.Telephone sales & marketing experience (working in a call centre) will be an added advantage
*.Sales and Marketing experience
*.Previous working experience/exposure in dealing with students at a tertiary level will be an added advantage
