Job Details:
Ensure all Electrical, Instrument and Mechanical work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner in strict accordance with the Integrated Asset Plan (IAP) for the Projects Workstream and the required Company standards.
*.Preparation of all permits required for the safe and efficient delivery of the work.
*.Ensuring all work is carried out in strict compliance with the IAP.
*.Notification of any change or growth to the work in the IAP as soon as this may arise and communicate this to the DTL in a timely manner.
*.The allocation of Tradesmen to work fronts.
*.The allocation of Chargehands to work fronts.
*.Issuing job specifications at trade level.
*.Completing daily manpower time allocation sheets ensuring that all the correct work order & call-off data is included.
*.Ability to review and comment on Workpacks relating to all scopes within their control.
*.Ability to interrogate date contained within Workpacks, including P&IDs, Schematics, Job Cards, Method Statements, etc.
*.Collect and measure data as may be required in support of the performance metrics for the work and to provide visibility of the performance of team, as agreed with the DTL.
*.Review of other performance data and modify approach or tactics with team as may be necessary from time to time to improve delivery performance.
*.Accurate recording of physical progress against the job carded hours allocated.
*.Ensuring that the safe systems of work are effectively applied through instruction, supervision and good communications.
*.Ensuring any change to planned work is managed effectively and in conjunction with the engineering support team if technical data requires to be changed.
*.The development of change proposals and work scope development as may be required from time to time and communicated to the responsible Project Engineer through the DTL.
*.Raise TQ’s as necessary and monitor the TQ register.
*.Ensuring that the implementation of appropriate working procedures is strictly adhered to.
*.Taking steps to encourage the workforce to carry out their duties effectively / efficiently.
*.Attending and having reasonable input to safety meetings.
*.Attending and having reasonable input to work methodology meetings.
*.Attending and having reasonable input to plan scheduling meetings.
*.Record the attendance including sickness absence of the tradesmen allocated to Workstream.
*.Ensuring that everybody under their control is provided with such instruction, information and procedures as defined within the management system as means of control.
*.Shall performance manage all resources under their control.
*.
*.Shall conduct Return to Work meetings for personnel when returning from absence.
*.Shall hold formal coaching sessions, recorded conversations and disciplinary investigations or meetings as required and as per guidance from HR or the Company.
*.Plan and prepare to execute requirements of inspection and test procedures.
*.Carry-out periodic appraisals on the tradesmen allocated to them in an objective manner with openness and honesty.
*.Conducting meaningful toolbox talks and encouraging those within his team to take turns in conducting the same.
*.Investigating any accidents involving personnel under their control.
*.Investigating all ‘near-miss’ situations reported by personnel under their control.
